The weeks have been moving by at an exceptionally fast pace. Logically, I know that time has not sped up, but my days are filled with so much from start to finish, I find myself wondering when I finished my last task and moved on to the next one. I like being this busy, because it is fun, but I also like having the ability sometimes to take my time, slow down, smell the roses, or really look at invitations.
Wedding planning has been keeping us very busy lately, I have a few updates for the wedding page to share – soon. We’ve picked out our invitations and are waiting on samples to come in. I got my wedding shoes. We figured out our reception menu. We’re starting to figure out our ceremony and our vows. It’s all coming together and I’m amazed at how my vision – our vision – is coming to life.
Since the half marathon I’ve been pretty stagnant with my training. The Boy is running with me and we’re enjoying the time together. Today, I set out to run without my garmin or anything tracking my pace or distance. I spent about forty-five minutes running through the park downtown before heading home and I enjoyed the time to stretch my legs and clear my head.
Recently, I’ve been playing around with our dSLR camera, taking pictures of everything and anything. My battery is on the charger right now, but next time I sit down to post, I hope to share some of the pictures I’ve taken. We’ve been working on getting our backyard together – fixing our fountain, putting out furniture, a firepit, little tables. I’ve been doing a lot of focusing outside – when it’s not too hot to be outdoors.
It’s been a while, but it’s been busy. I’ll see y’all soon.
