The Boy and I recently got back from a 5-day vacation to Canada and New York. We had a great time exploring Niagara Falls and Niagara-on-the-Lake – both places I’ve never been before.
I loved the falls – they were gorgeous!
We watched the fireworks over the falls, which were impressive, but shorter than what we were expecting.
After our adventure at Niagara Falls, we moved on to Niagara-on-the-Lake, where we saw Ragtime with some friends at the Shaw Theatre, and took a full day touring different wineries in the area while tasting a variety of different and delicious wines.
I enjoyed our time on the lake, finding it peaceful, restful, and different. We stayed in a bed and breakfast and enjoyed a comfy bed and delicious breakfasts every morning we were in Niagara-on-the-Lake. I was sad the day we left – but excited as we made our way into New York to see Erica’s wedding.
While I have a lot of photos from the wedding, out of respect for the bride and groom, I am going to keep them offline for the time being. It was a beautiful wedding and a wonderful way to cap off a great vacation. I’m still running off of all of the fun sights we took in, the things we did while away, and smile every time I go through the more than 300 pictures we took while on our vacation.
The Boy and I are in the process of deciding where our next trip together will take us, and are thrilled with how our most recent adventures went. I loved our trip and am eager to go back someday.
