The Reds are winding down their season and it's sad to me that baseball is (sort of) coming to an end. We have the playoffs and World Series of course, but to me the end of the regular season is when summer really comes to a close.
And it's interesting to me thinking about my memories of early fall since we moved to cincinnati, because they all involve Great American Ballpark in some capacity. At least, the fondest memories do.
So tonight, at our next-to-last game of the year, I was happy to enjoy a Fireworks Friday. It was the perfect way to really cap off a great early autumn evening.
